The Problem

Two kinds of stuck. One day to get unstuck.

Most leaders carry both at once. The morning addresses one, the afternoon addresses the other, and the day ends with both moving again.

Fuel · Morning

Your brain is stuck.

  • You can feel the fog. You're sharp for an hour, gone for three.
  • The energy you used to have for people, decisions, and ideas is rationed now.
  • You've read the books. The mindset stuff doesn't stick because no one ever taught your brain how to work.
  • You know something's off. You need help from someone who does this for a living.
Fire · Afternoon

Your business is stuck.

  • Your calendar is full. Your pipeline isn't. Something's off and you can't quite name it.
  • Everyone's talking about AI. You're not sure which tools move revenue and which ones just eat your weekends.
  • You leave conferences with a notebook full of ideas and no team to help you run any of them.
  • You need help from a team of people who do this for a living.

Intentional Intelligence is what happens when both halves get addressed in the same day, by the people who do this work.

Mary Benson Alphs
Your Guide

Mary Benson Alphs. Builder of leaders and of businesses.

Mary is the Founder and Chief Strategist of BDI Leadership Network. She built BDI around a simple conviction: leaders are built and businesses are built the same way — by the right people working on the right things in the right room.

Fuel & Fire is what that conviction looks like twice a year. Every practitioner in the room is someone Mary has personally vetted, whose work she knows, whose clients she has watched be transformed. This is not a speaker lineup assembled by a booking agency. It is a room curated one person at a time, because your brain and your business are not two problems. They are one problem with two doors, and most leaders only have the key to one.

What comes out of that room is what every attendee said they wanted and rarely find: an NPS of 9.5, relationships that outlast the day, and insights that become implementation by the following Monday.

The Room

Fourteen practitioners. Two halves of the same transformation.

Intentional Intelligence is not a concept. It's what happens when people who do this work for a living put their hands on your brain and your business in the same day.

Two sessions.
One transformation.

Optimize your thinking in the morning. Execute with precision in the afternoon. One day. Two halves. Complete change.

What Separates The Forum

Two Workshops.
One Plan. Yours.

Most conferences hand you notes. The Fuel & Fire Forum hands you a finished plan. You'll build a personalized Insight, Implementation, Impact document by hand, validate it with a subject matter expert, and sharpen it with AI — all before you walk out.

01 / Clarity
Insight

The science, the signal, the truth. Clarity on what actually drives your brain, your business, and the gap between them.

02 / Execution
Implementation

Your step-by-step plan on paper. A tailored roadmap for your business, not a stack of notes. Built to run the week you get home.

03 / Result
Impact

Measurable results. What happens after the room clears, the work begins, and the plan you built actually ships.

The Workshop Method

Hand. Expert. AI.
In that order.

This is where the Forum separates itself from every other conference. Your plan is your own work first, pressure-tested by an expert second, and only then accelerated by AI. That sequence is why it sticks.

01
Step One

Hand

You build the plan yourself, on paper, using the brain science and business principles delivered on stage. Pen. Page. Your business. No templates, no shortcuts.

02
Step Two

Expert

A subject matter expert works the plan with you. Pressure-tests the thinking, challenges the sequence, catches what you can't see yet. Your plan gets sharper before AI ever touches it.

03
Step Three

AI

Only now does AI enter the room. It refines, structures, and accelerates the plan you already built — turning insight into implementation at machine speed, without losing the humanity underneath it.

By the end of the day, you're holding a complete, personalized Insight, Implementation, Impact document — built by your own hand, validated by an expert, and sharpened by AI.

Dedicated networking time is built into the day so you can visit the Tables without missing a session.

Want a Table of your own? Tier-by-tier partnership opportunities, speaking slots, and breakout sessions are open now.

Why Now

The cost of another year of almost.

Another year of almost-hitting the revenue goal. Another year of almost-getting the team aligned. Another year of almost-launching the thing you keep talking about on Sunday nights.

The leaders who break that pattern all do the same thing. They find a room where the right people, the right insights, and the right next step come together in the same day.

May 7 was that room.

Questions, Answered

Before you count yourself in.

What does the day actually look like, hour by hour?
From the moment doors open through the final close-out, every block is built so the work compounds across the day. See the full hour-by-hour agenda →
Is this for me if I'm a solopreneur?
Yes. Solopreneurs get the most out of Fuel & Fire because you wear every hat. The morning optimizes the person running the business. The afternoon hands you the systems the business needs. Most attendees implement something within the first week.
Is this for me if I lead a team inside a larger company?
Yes. Executives, department heads, and high-performing professionals attend for the same reason: identity, clarity, and implementation compound whether you own the business or drive results inside one.
What does “personalized Game Plan” actually mean?
It's built live, in three layers. First you draft it by hand during the sessions. Then you refine it at lunch with a subject-matter expert at your table. Then you run it through an AI protocol we walk you through before you leave. You go home with a plan, not a pile of notes.
What if I can't make it that day?
Your ticket transfers to the Fall 2026 Forum in either Manassas, VA or Orlando, FL. No questions asked, full credit applied. Email us and we'll handle it.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, ready to work. We'll provide a notebook so you can draft your Game Plan by hand during the sessions. This is a working Forum, not a listening one, so pen and paper matter. A laptop is optional.
Parking? Dress code?
Parking is complimentary at Wyndham Garden Manassas. Dress is business casual.
What's for lunch?
A step up from the usual conference lunch. Our quinoa protein bowl features quinoa, chicken, fresh mixed vegetables, and salad finished with feta, served with your choice of cilantro-lime or honey-lemon vinaigrette. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day, and Baskin-Robbins ice cream is on the menu for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Is the Neuro Playground the same as the main event?
No. The Neuro Playground runs the evening of May 6, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and it's a hands-on experience with Matthew and Carol Newell. It's included in Prime Access VIP or available as a $39 add-on. The Table Partners meet & greet happens during the Playground as well.
I'm on the fence. What should I do?
If you missed the room, the replay is the next-best seat — every main-stage session and both workshops, on demand for 7 days from your purchase date.

The fire is lit. The work continues.

On May 7, the room in Manassas filled with leaders, speakers, and partners who came to do the work — and the work doesn't stop when the lights come up. The replay is available so you can sit with the day on your own time, take what you need, and bring it back to your team.

If you missed the room, this is the next-best seat.

P.S. Replay access stays open for a limited window. Stay close — the Fall 2026 Forum is already taking shape.
